First and foremost, a huge shoutout to our entire Uvalde Little League community.

When weather and field conditions forced today’s baseball games to be moved from Pearsall to Uvalde with very little notice, our volunteers answered the call.

A special thank you to the City of Uvalde, Paul Ede and crew, VJ McElroy, Joseph Gatto, Ben for the field preparations. Coach EJ and the Junior All-Star Softball team for stepping up in the concession stand. I’m sure I’m missing several others, including all of our dedicated bookkeepers and pitch counters.

You all came through when it was needed most, and Uvalde Little League truly appreciates each and every one of you. With only about an hour’s notice, getting the fields, concessions, scorekeeping, and operations ready was no easy task. With your willingness to jump in and help, we were able to pull off an incredible day of All-Star baseball at our Complex. Thank you for showing what makes Uvalde Little League special. It truly takes a village, and today our village showed up.

Now for the All-Star update!

⭐️Let’s hear it for our Minor 8-10 Baseball All-Stars, bringing the District 21 Championship back home to Uvalde! These young men completed tournament play undefeated and earned the title in impressive fashion.

⭐️And let’s get loud for our Minor 9-11 Baseball All-Stars, who also captured the District 21 Championship! They, too, finished tournament play with an unblemished record and proved themselves every step of the way.

⭐️Our Minor 8-10 Softball All-Stars came out swinging today with a big win over Natalia, earning the opportunity to continue their tournament run. They will face Lytle Little League in another elimination game at 4:00 PM in Pearsall.

⭐️Major Little League Baseball earned a hard-fought extra-inning victory over Lytle and turned right around for a back-to-back game tonight. If you’re still awake, come out and support our Majors as they continue battling for a spot in the Championship Game.

Today was a great day for Uvalde Little League. Two District 21 Championships, multiple teams still fighting for their tournament lives, and a community that continues to show up whenever called upon.

ULL All-Stars and ULL Community continue to represent with pride.

⚾️GAME DAY UPDATE! ⚾️

Due to field conditions, today’s Little League tournament games have been moved from Pearsall to Uvalde for Minor 8-10, Minor 9-11, and Major 10-12 baseball divisions.

We are incredibly proud of our Uvalde teams and invite the entire community to come out and cheer them on as they compete for championships and tournament advancement!

UVALDE LITTLE LEAGUE ALL-STAR UPDATE

Our Uvalde All-Star Teams continue to battle, compete, and represent our community with pride. Here’s where each team stands as tournament play continues: (all games to be played in Pearsall Tx.)

⭐️Minors Baseball (8-10)
The boys have rolled through the tournament undefeated and have earned their spot in the Championship Game.
June 20 | 2:00 PM

Their record remains unblemished as they look to bring home the title.

⭐️Minors Softball (8-10)
After a tough second-round loss to D’Hanis, the girls were forced into the elimination bracket but refused to quit. They bounced back with a big win over Pearsall and continue their tournament run.
June 20 | 8:00 AM vs Natalia

⭐️Minors Baseball (9-11)
This group has been dominant all tournament long, remaining undefeated and earning a chance to play for the Championship.
June 20 | 6:00 PM

One more win stands between them and a district title.

⭐️Majors Baseball (10-12)
After a hard-fought third-round loss to Pearsall, the team moved into the elimination side of the bracket but remains very much alive. Their tournament journey continues as they fight for another day.

A resilient group that refuses to back down.

⭐️Majors Softball (10-12)
The girls suffered a tough first-round loss to Natalia but responded exactly how champions do. They battled back to defeat Somerset and advance to the next round.

Their determination continues to thrive as they continue their championship pursuit.

⭐️Junior Baseball
Junior Baseball battled hard throughout the tournament. After falling to Natalia and moving into an elimination game, they responded with a win over Pearsall to keep their season alive. Their run ultimately came to an end against a tough Jourdanton team.

Thank you to the players, coaches, and families for representing Uvalde Little League with pride and class.

⭐️Junior Softball
The girls came out strong with an opening-round victory over Pearsall. After a loss to Lytle, they fought their way back through the elimination bracket and earned a big win over Pleasanton. They are now set for a rematch against Lytle with the championship on the line.

Every team has shown heart, resilience, and what it means to wear UVALDE across their chest. Some are fighting for championships, others have completed their journey, but all have made our league proud.

⚾️🥎 Uvalde Little League – Important Safety Update 🥎⚾️

We want to share an important update regarding safety at our facilities. Effective immediately, underaged individuals are no longer allowed in any press box area without a parent or guardian present.

Yesterday, we received reports of suspected va**ng occurring in the Avalos press box, with over 10 underage individuals present at the time. While the situation is still being reviewed, we are taking proactive steps to ensure a safe and appropriate environment for all players, families, volunteers, and visitors.

The press box is considered a restricted area, and we ask for everyone’s support in helping reinforce these expectations. Our goal is to maintain a safe, positive, and respectful atmosphere for everyone involved in our league.

We appreciate all of our umpires who attended and took the time to learn, improve, and prepare for the season. Your commitment helps ensure a great experience for all of our players.

⚾️🥎 Uvalde Little League – Friendly Reminder 🥎⚾️

Help us keep our ballpark safe for every child and family. Please review the guidelines below:

🚗 Parking Guidelines
• Enter and exit ONLY through the Double Gate (West) Entrance
• Do not park behind other vehicles — this blocks access and creates a safety hazard
• No parking by the concession stand or umpire/equipment rooms
• Overflow parking is available at the soccer field parking lot

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Child Safety at the Ballpark
• Watch for children walking between cars
• Drive slowly at all times in the ballpark
• Hold younger children’s hands near traffic
• Keep walkways, gates, and entrances clear at all times
• Supervise children closely, especially near parking areas

🚸 Why This Matters
These guidelines help prevent accidents, ensure emergency access, and keep traffic flowing safely for all families.

These guidelines will be actively monitored for everyone’s safety, and violations may result in vehicles being asked to move immediately.
