Cactus Jack Foundation To fund these efforts, the foundation has an annual professional bull riding event that is held in May of each year.

The mission of the Uvalde Cactus Jack Foundation is to enhance the community by investing in our youth through the support of the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports program at UCISD. By providing incentives to reward positive behaviors, the foundation works to create an environment that is conducive to successful learning opportunities for students so they can meet the educational needs

of UCISD and become productive members of the community. Uvalde Cactus Jack Foundation was based on the premise that our future is our youth, and we must do everything we can to enhance their learning experiences so they will become productive members of our community and society as a whole. This is the major fundraising event for the foundation. Money raised at the bull riding goes to fund various school programs that benefit students and teachers.
