Utica Jr Comets Mites

09/14/2026

We're one week out from our mites evaluations and still have spots left for mites at all levels. As the only program in the local area that offers individual team practices twice a week rather than stations practices, along with a weekly focus on skating development, the Jr Comets Mites program is the perfect fit for players and families focused on accelerating their player's development.

Our program is priced competitively with all mites' programs and has no requirement to do concession/raffles!

The Jr. Comets Mites fell to the legendary “parent team” today in a barn burner that will surely be remembered as one of the great triumphs in Parent vs Kids hockey history. Powered by years of elite conditioning from early morning drives, tying countless pairs of skates and disciplined pre-game snack strategy, the parent squad skated away with a hard-fought 10–8 victory.

Player of the Game was an easy call. Coach John Husnay stood on his head between the pipes, turning aside a relentless late rally by the Comets Mites and delivering a goaltending performance fueled by pure dad strength and veteran reflexes. 🏒🔴⚫
