Saturday, the ladies of 4810 competed at the 2026 Bloomfield Hills Girls Competition. Each girl had the opportunity to drive and operate the robot, taking turns after each match and having a blast! They also were guided in the pits, gaining valuable hands-on experience and learning so much throughout the day.
We were selected by the second alliance The Chimeras FRC Team 1684 along with FIRST Robotics Team 33, The Killer Bees . Together, we won every match and advanced to the finals!
Our first match in the finals ended in a tie with our robot taking a hard hit. With our alliance partners jumping in to help, we worked tirelessly get the robot back up and running for the next matches. The teamwork and dedication in the pits were incredible, with some members staying behind to continue with repairs of our robot while the rest of our alliance partners returned to the field to continue on with final matches!
Our robot may not have made it back to the field but our team spirit never gave up as we cheered on our alliance partners The Chimeras FRC Team 1684 and FIRST Robotics Team 33, The Killer Bees, winning the matches to victory.
We are so proud of our girls for their hard work, growth, and teamwork throughout the day!
A huge thank-you to the hosts of the Girls Competition, feds201, teamfrc469, and frc2834, as well as our incredible alliance partners, for making this such an amazing and memorable competition! 💙
We would also like give a huge congratulations to our Senior Melina for being one of the 4 ladies chosen for the Girls Competition Scholarships !!!
