Today we honor Marilyn Wilson Hughes for her dedication to the nursing profession. The tribute was attended by Tammy Bowen McCarthy from the MVNHG, and Sandra Hula and Jennifer Garlock-Stringer from the OSDNHG. We love when sister chapters help each other out.

The living tribute for Karen Sitterly was a beautiful display of love, dedication, and camaraderie. I don't think there was a dry eye in the house. The tribute was attended by members of OSDNHG, FulMont NHG, and Mohawk Valley NHG, as well as many nurses, support staff, and physicians who worked alongside Karen throughout her career. Karen's husband, Jeff Sitterly, her daughter, Rebecca, and her sister, Rachel, were also in attendance. Thank you to Rachel for all of the videos we will be uploading.

Throughout this service, we were reminded to say the things that need to be said, do not wait until a funeral service to show the people you love how much they mean to you. Karen said at the end of the service, "This tribute validated all of my years as a nurse, I truly didn't know I had made such a impact!"
