Utica Community Foundation "A community becomes what its people make it" The current shelter is in need of major repairs and has limited accessibly.

The Utica Community Foundation in partnership with the Village of Utica is moving forward with plans to replace the picnic shelter and restrooms in the City Park. Upgrading would allow for a larger, 30โ€™ x 64โ€™ structure with an extended cement apron and a four-stall restroom that includes a storm shelter. The Foundation is taking on the $210,000 effort after the Village of Utica was denied grant fu

nding and feedback from residents suggested they would like to utilize the space.

The playground project is officially complete and ready for kids to play! โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ›

A huge thank you to Preston Stuhr, Keaton Kucera, and Kendall Gierhan for the many, many hours they put in over the last month constructing the playground. There were also several other volunteers who helped make this project come together. It truly took a group effort.

The Utica Community Foundation is incredibly thankful for the many donors and the supporters of last summerโ€™s Tie One On event who made this project possible.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Soup with Santa โ€” it was such a fun night filled with good food, Christmas cheer, and lots of smiles.

A special shoutout to Balloons on a Budget for the festive balloon arch and Santa photo backdrop, and to Mark Greckel for giving tractor trailer rides around town to see the Christmas lights. โค๏ธ

And thank you to our wonderful community for showing up, supporting the Utica Community Foundation, and reminding us once again that a community is what its people make itโ€ฆ and we have a great community.

Soup with Santa is TONIGHT from 5โ€“7 pm at the Senior Center! ๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿผ๐ŸŽ„

Stop in for a warm bowl of chili or chicken noodle soup, plus homemade cinnamon rolls!

Kids can visit with Santa and make some Christmas crafts โ€” fun for all ages.

Weโ€™ll also have trailer rides to look at Christmas lights! โœจ Bring a blanket to stay warm while you ride.

Free-will donations support the Utica Community Foundationโ€™s playground project and help keep community events like this going. Come join us!
