REQUEST FOR BIDS – Facility Security & Accessibility Improvements
We are grateful to share that the Association of Bosniaks has been awarded a grant from the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services under the Securing Communities Against Hate Crimes program. This funding will make our center in Watervliet safer for everyone who gathers here, especially our elders, our children, and our worshippers. It will also improve access for members who have difficulty with stairs. Thank you to New York State and to every volunteer and member who helped make this possible.
We are now inviting licensed and insured contractors to bid on the work (RFB No. AB-SCAHC-2026-01):
• Lot 1 – Commercial Door Assemblies: 1 interior security door and 4 fire-rated exit doors with panic hardware and alarmed exit devices
• Lot 2 – Video Surveillance Expansion: 11 interior IP cameras and a recording system upgrade
• Lot 3 – Stairway Lift Chairs: 3 lifts connecting the building's levels
Contractors may bid on one, two, or all three lots. NYS-certified MWBE and SDVOB firms are strongly encouraged to bid.
