Genesis Group View and Opinion: Gene Allen has worked for the City of Utica for many years, and he's worn many hats. Currently he's the Marketing Director for the city’s Urban Renewal Agency. Now, he has an added title as the city's Community and Volunteer Cleanup Coordinator, a move aimed at streamlining citywide cleanup efforts and supporting residents and organizations looking to get involved. We believe this is a good move because it's something he already does - and he does it well! As we like to say, a cleaner community is a better community.

-A friendly reminder on how to report an issue in the City of Utica-

We welcome your requests.

The attached photo below is the direct lines for the many reasons you may need to reach out to the City of Utica and the many other authorities and entities that provide services. While we have no shortage of requests for assistance, maintenance, and issues one of the very things we love to do is ensure we can both respond and react to the many reports that come in throughout the day. The Mayor, his direct staff, and city departments are ready to respond – and if you have a relationship with your councilperson, their representation is paramount, and a very good way to reach out for requests big and small as well.

The City of Utica makes it easy for residents to report concerns and stay connected. If you see something that needs attention, here are a few simple ways to let us know:

Online:
Submit a report directly through our website:
https://www.cityofutica.com/report-a-problem

Codes (315)792-0163

Please see the photo below for additional phone numbers that were included in the Mayor's State of City mailer. These direct lines can also be found at www.cityofutica.com

Email:
Prefer to reach out directly, you can contact:
• Mayor Galime’s Office: [email protected]
• Chief of Staff, Becki Duval: [email protected]

Please ensure that all concerns are directed through one of the above-listed channels or to your district Councilperson so they can be properly addressed and followed up on.

Your feedback helps keep Utica running smoothly, thank you for doing your part.
