Muslim Community Association of Mohawk Valley Utica Masjid was originally founded in 1994, making it the first mosque in the city of Utica, NY.

Our masjid has been blessed with a multi-ethnic community that is strongly committed to serving all Muslims from many regions of the world. The Muslim Community Association of Mohawk Valley (MCAMV) was established in 1994 as a religious non profitable organization in the state of New York by local muslims of Mohawk Valley. Today we have grown into a multi-ethnic community that provides 5 daily prayers, Jummah , Sunday school, Quran memorization, and much more.

Alhamdulillah, we extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make our 8th Annual Book Bags with School Supplies Giveaway & Free Health Screenings Clinic a wonderful success.

A special thank you to Senator Joe Griffo, Utica Mayor Michael Galime, and Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon for joining us in support of our community especially the children as they get ready to go back to school. And especial thank to Raj from Minar Restaurant for providing generous logistic support.

We are grateful to ICNA Relief and AAPNA for their partnership and support in putting together this event.

Most importantly, thank you to all of our incredible volunteers. Your time, energy, compassion, and dedication made this event possible. From organizing and distributing book bags to assisting families and supporting the health clinic, every contribution made a difference.

At MCAMV / Utica Masjid, we believe that strong communities are built when people and organizations come together in service to others. This event was a beautiful example of that spirit.

May Allah reward everyone who contributed, volunteered, partnered, and supported this effort. We look forward to continuing to serve the children, families, and neighbors of the greater Utica community together.

On behalf of the Utica Masjid family, we sincerely thank everyone who joined us for the Janazah prayer and burial. Your presence, duas, compassion, and support beautifully reflected the strength and unity of our community.

May Allah ﷻ reward you abundantly for honoring our departed brother, forgive him, shower him with His infinite mercy, illuminate and expand his grave, and grant him the highest ranks of Jannatul Firdaus.

May Allah ﷻ grant his family and loved ones patience, comfort, and strength during this difficult time.
