We're focused on early voting, but we do have a NUNA meeting next week, June 22nd at 6:30. North Utica Councilman Joe Betrus and County Legislator Tony Leone will have their early office hours at 5:30. Meeting is open to the public and all are welcome.

City of Utica Releases the Details of the Fourth of July Celebration at Harbor Point

UTICA, NY – The City of Utica announces the details of the Fourth of July Celebration to be held at Harbor Point and surrounding areas on Friday, July 4, 2026.

The celebration will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and culminate with the City’s annual fireworks display over the harbor. Residents and visitors are encouraged to join the festivities at Harbor Point or enjoy the fireworks.

The Harbor Point celebration will feature a wide variety of attractions for families and visitors of all ages, including:

Food trucks and local vendors
Live entertainment
A Touch-A-Truck display
Interactive activities for children
Nervous Rex will be lighting up the stage with an awesome live music performance this year.

To make transportation easier, the City will provide at no cost shuttle service between the Nexus Center parking lot and Harbor Point throughout the event. Shuttles will continuously transport attendees directly from the Nexus Center parking area to Harbor Point.

A parking and viewing map has been created to assist attendees and identify:

Free public parking lots
Free on-street parking locations
Alternate public viewing areas for the fireworks display
Shuttle pick-up and drop-off locations
