Fun Fact Saturday!

Did you know that Project 33 started as an idea during a picnic on Memorial Day in 2017?

We were at the beach with friends as Mike reflected back on his years of service and the friends that have been lost along the way. He decided then that the following year he would run solo through our town of Hamburg with the flag to honor the brothers he has lost in the years since 9/11.

The rest of us at that picnic knew immediately that our hometown would never let that happen. Hamburg, NY would want to be there, involved, and running alongside him. And we were right.

Our first year we had 44 runners, the second was 88. Last year with COVID, we really didn't know what to expect....but 213 people raised their hands to run along side us virtually.

This year we are incredibly pumped and GRATEFUL! Your support has help us GROW! Over 10 organized chapter runs are happening across the US with participants from near and far (and some are really, really far) all lacing up to run for Tim.

This is a complete passion project for us - something that we run with our hearts and let the mission lead the way.
