www.shelbyrebels.com The Utica-Shelby Area Rebels Football and Cheer Club is a youth sports club offering children ages 5 - 12 in the Utica and Shelby Township area, a chance to learn how to play and love the sports of football and cheer. We belie

ve that on the field and mat, our athletes learn valuable core lessons in life. Lessons on winning and losing, sportsmanship and respect, hard work and responsibility, on brotherhood/sisterhood and loyalty. We believe in pushing our athletes so that every one of them can reach their truest potential and walk away from every single season proud of their accomplishments, with memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. The Rebels are part of the Northern Youth Football League (NYFL). Our league as a whole, believes in and supports school athletics. We age out in 7th grade to push our athletes into their home schools athletic programs. Our board chose the NYFL for that reason. Our Rebel board believes that children will develop better relationships, deeper bonds, more memories and better skills playing with the peers they will play with throughout their high school career. Our hopes are that there will be a lower athletic drop out rate, our athletes will play better as they will have years of training before reaching middle school and our schools, both middle and high, can compete at higher levels. Good Evening Rebel Families 💙

We’re reaching out to ask for your support for two young ladies in our extended Stoney Creek community who are going through an incredibly difficult time.

These girls, now students at Stoney High School, are former Junior Cougar cheerleaders. Three years ago, they lost their mom, Shanna, to cancer. She was a beloved cheer coach and brought so much joy to those around her—something her daughters carry on today. Tragically, just days ago, they also lost their father to a sudden heart attack. He was a constant presence at games and a proud supporter of everything Stoney.

Our NYFL community is heartbroken, and we would love to come together to support these girls during this unimaginable time.
