It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closure of iCARE Fighting Hunger Foundation, effective November 4th. The past five years have been a journey filled with challenges, including high inflation and insufficient funding, which have hindered our ability to meet the needs of the community. I extend my gratitude to my dedicated team, Dawn Townsend, Felicia Quail, Michael Quail, and Brianna Regan, for their tireless efforts in fighting hunger. I also thank our generous donors and supporters who have stood with us throughout this journey.

Today, I was discussing the increasing number of homeless individuals with other organizations. Addressing mental health is the key to resolving this issue. Unfortunately, around 20% of the homeless population in need of assistance are often overlooked. By focusing on this group and offering them help, we can reduce the overall number of homeless people.
