After, he intends to pursue a PhD in religion and start his career as a professor.
In addition, to that he is active on numerous boards, committees, and faith based groups.
Why is CI important to me? โThe Collective Impact Network is the culmination of years and years of conversation, projects, and connecting with others. From education advocacy in Proctor High School to gathering peers to be a delegation to the United Nations. From forming the Joint Collegiate Black Student Summit at UofR to Traveling to Israel, Palestine, and Paris. All of it has led to this moment and time. We have to come together and build an independent agency that can grow capacity to answer the issues we are facing as a community.
The premise is built on one simple idea: imagine what we can build when we bring together young professionals from across the Mohawk Valley, Central NY, and the Country passionate about Utica. We decided to form a Community Development Corporation to do that work. We donโt have all the answers and there will be some that will doubt our work and say we canโt do it. But Iโm in this fight until I die and will give it all I have! Cornhill deserve that. Utica deserves that.โ
In the words of Vertner Woodson Tandy a Legendary American Architect and a Founder Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc: We fight until hell freezes over and then we will fight on the ice!
