WHO WE ARE

The Servants of Divine Mercy are a group of dedicated Christians willing to help the terminally ill and dying in preparing them for their death through the Divine Mercy of Jesus Christ. The fact is, there is nothing greater that a person can do for another who is approaching the end of their life, than to pray for their soul. And… there is no grea

ter or more powerful prayer that can be prayed for them than the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. WHAT WE DO

When we receive a call (only at the request of the family, person in need, or person in charge) we would first obtain some basic information: Name, Phone Number, addresses (residents, hospitals, nursing homes etc.), how urgent is the situation. We will then set up a day and time ( preferable as close to #;)) PM from which the call was received). We will then provide two volunteers at the appointed day and time ( Please note, Spanish speaking volunteers are available). Upon arrival, we would meet with the family and/or persons present and invite everyone present ( which is purely at each individual’s discretion) to join the volunteers in praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy at the bedside of the person terminally ill/dying. Rosary, pamphlets describing how to pray the Chaplet will be provided for anyone who needs them or to follow along ( Yours to keep if so desired). An 8 X 10 picture of Divine Mercy will be placed by the bedside of the person in need (all material brought have been blessed by an ordained priest). We would ask permission of the family present, person in need, and/or person in charge if we may bless the person in need with Holy Water and if we could place a Brown Scapular with the Miraculous Medal around the chest of the person in need. The volunteers would then pray the Chaplet, pack materials brought, answer any questions and respectfully depart.

Holy Mary Immaculata, Most Pure and Most Holy, O Queen of Heaven and Earth, Full of Grace, Most Blessed, Virgin of Virgins, Ever Virgin, God-bearer.

You are the Cause of our Salvation, ever listening to my prayers of supplication. You are steadfast, perpetually interceding, whispering into your Son’s ear my wants and needs-You are my unfailing Advocate.

Thank you so very much for answering my prayers! I am eternally grateful and will sing your praises!
Thank you! ❤️ Thank you! ❤️ Thank you! ❤️

The third is prayer and deeds of mercy, without any obligation of taking vows. By doing this, these persons will have a share in all the merits and privileges of the whole [congregation]. Everyone in the world can belong to this group.

A member of this group ought to perform at least one act of mercy per day; at least one, but there can be many more, for such deeds can easily be carried out by anyone, even the very poorest.

For there are three ways of performing an act of mercy:

the merciful word

by forgiving

and by comforting;

secondly, if you can offer no word, then pray-that too is mercy;

and thirdly, deeds of mercy.

And when the Last Day comes, we shall be judged from this, and on this basis we shall receive the eternal verdict.”
