Educators, Counselors, and Mentors—We Need You!

Help your students take center stage with Broadway Utica’s Youth Ambassador Program—an incredible opportunity for students entering 11th or 12th grade in the 2025–2026 school year to explore the world of live theater while building real-world skills.

This free, season-long program offers:

• Opportunities to meet cast members and attend workshops
• Writing, leadership, and networking experiences
• Community service and resume-building events

Whether your students are passionate about the arts, love to write, or are just looking for something unique to be part of—this is it.

Applications are now open at BroadwayUtica.org

Please share with students who would shine in this program—space is limited!

Sponsored by Bank of Utica and our generous community.

For over 65 years Broadway Theatre League of Utica has offered local theatergoers star-studded evenings filled with music, drama, and first-rate entertainment.

We had the privilege of welcoming the incredible cast of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical for a heartfelt pre-talk with our Youth Ambassadors before Wednesday night’s performance.

The discussion was powerful, emotional, and deeply moving…. truly an experience that left us all smiling ear to ear, with more than a few tears shed. The impact it had on our Youth Ambassadors and the Broadway Utica team is something we’ll never forget. We’re so grateful to the cast for their time, openness, and the beautiful connection they created.

It was an unforgettable moment that reminds us why live theater has the power to change lives.

Proctor Drama Club will be presenting their fall play, The Princess Who Had No Name, on Friday November 8th at 6:30 PM and Saturday November 9th at 3:00 PM in Proctor High School's auditorium. Tickets are $7 for adults / $5 for students, children and senior citizens.

The students auditioned for the show in September and have been working diligently every day after school in preparation for this fun and entertaining production. The play is about a princess who cannot remember her name and she must go on a quest to find out her true identity. There are many well-known fairy tale characters that she meets along the way who help her remember who she truly is. The production features Miriam Grove as the Princess and Nasir Durham as Prince Reveille who is desperately trying to find his lost love while dealing with many hilarious mishaps along the way.
