The members of the UCHS board will meet Thursday evening, September 24th at 7 p.m., at the museum.
Anyone is welcomed to attend!

Hello, we hope everyone is enjoying this first full day of fall! The museum has had many reach out to say the telephone number they are trying to use is no longer in service.
Earlier this year, we discontinued service with Brightspeed because our phone bill was too much and we didn't have an answering machine for messages.
I apologize if this has caused anyone frustration.
If you need to connect to the museum, our president, Patricia Doll's number is 660.525.1199.
The old number will be taken out of our next newsletter.
Again, we apologize for the oversight.

UCHS shared some incorrect information with the publisher of the Urich Crusader. The museum board meets on the 4th Thursday of each month not the 3rd.
We apologize for any inconvenience.

08/25/2026

There will not be a museum board meeting on the 4th Thursday in August. We will meet again in September.
Museum is still open for regular hours every Tuesday from 1 to 4 p.m. and the first Saturday from 10 to 2! The first Saturday in December will be the last day we are open in 2026. Be sure to come by that day and help us celebrate the holiday season!

Thank you to everyone who came in the Urich Museum on Saturday and walked through our Living History Tour! From 9 am until noon, we had well over 100 visitors and several more through out the afternoon!
Thank you to all the volunteers who played the roles and shared their knowledge of the folks who made Urich the wonderful place it is!
Also many thanks to the Urich Reunion Committee for naming the museum as "Organization of the Year"
We have terrific support from the community and beyond and are thankful for the kind words!

We are 2 weeks away from the Urich Reunion and 16 days away from hosting our first ever "Living History Tour " at the museum. Saturday, August 1st from 9 until noon, plan to join us as our volunteers tell the stories of times gone by. You will move through the museum and listen to 10 different stories by folks who can tell you about people from the past (and one who is still around!), that will be interesting and informative.
As always there is no entry fee but donations are always appreciated! See you on the 1st and enjoy the 132nd Annual Urich Reunion!

The Urich Museum took it's float and attended the Olde Glory Days parade in Clinton, MO on Saturday, July 4th! As president, I want to give a huge shout out to everyone who made this possible! The weather was great and the people were great!
Don't forget our upcoming "Living History Tour" which takes place on Saturday, August 1st during the 132nd Annual Urich Reunion!
The tours will take place from 9 a.m. until noon. The museum will be open that day until 5 p.m.

06/12/2026

The Urich Museum has canceled it's service with Brightspeed. That means that we no longer have a land line and the telephone number that we've had for several years is no longer in service. Please feel free to call our president, Patricia Doll at 660.525.1199 with any questions! Other contact numbers are listed in our quarterly newsletter and posted on our sign at the museum entrance!
