Shalom Home Living was founded by Reverend Eugene, who recognized a need for compassionate, high-quality services that respect each individual as a whole person. Supported Community Living (SCL) Services
Supported Community Living services assist individuals with disabilities in developing and maintaining skills necessary for daily living and community participation. Staff provide daily living support to the members living together. Supports are individualized and may include assistance with daily routines, skill development, personal goals, and maintaining health and safety. Host Homes
Through the Host Home model, an individual with a disability lives in the private home of an approved Independent Contractor who provides individualized daily support and coaching. This may include help with activities like cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, bill paying, medication management, attending medical appointments, staying connected socially, and actively participating in the community. Consumer Directed Attendant Care (CDAC)
Consumer Directed Attendant Care allows individuals, or their designated representatives, to have greater control over how their care is provided. This flexible option can include help with activities of daily living, health-related tasks, household assistance, and other supports that promote independence, stability, and quality of life. Non-Emergency Transportation (NEMT)
Our reliable Non-Emergency Medical Transportation service provides safe, accessible rides to doctor appointments, pharmacy visits, and other essential medical services for those without other transportation options.
