Endow Urbandale is a tax-qualified community foundation managed by Urbandale citizens to facilitate and encourage charitable giving in Urbandale, Iowa. Endow Urbandale supports charitable, cultural and civic needs of our community now and for generations to come. Endow Urbandale also provides a resource for other community organizations and individuals who wish to create their own charitable endow
ment funds. As of June 2014, Endow Urbandale had $212,000 in managed assets. Gifts to the fund are added to the principal and left to grow through prudent investment. Grants from the fund are used to enhance Urbandale's quality of life by targeting:
Education
Youth Development
Community Betterment
Cultural Amenities
The Arts
Health and Human Services
Gifts to Endow Urbandale qualify for a 25 percent Endow Iowa Tax Credit - in addition to other federal tax benefits for which the charitable gift may qualify. For example, because of the tax savings, the next cost of a $100 gift is only $42 for a donor in the 33 percent federal income tax bracket. How To Give
