🤒 Sick baby? Safe sleep still matters! 💙

When your little one isn’t feeling well, it’s natural to want to do everything you can to keep them comfortable. But even when baby has a cold, congestion, or a fever, safe sleep is still important!

No matter how baby is feeling, remember to:
🚼 Place baby on their back for every sleep.
❗ Keep the sleep space firm, flat, and free of blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals.
🚫 Do NOT use inclined sleepers or prop baby up to help with congestion.
❤️ Keep baby close by in your room, but in their own separate sleep space.

If your baby is sick, talk with your healthcare provider about their symptoms and how to care for them safely.

A sick baby needs extra love, comfort, and care — and safe sleep should always be part of that care. 💙

Every year on October 15, families around the world light a candle at 7:00 p.m. local time to honor and remember the babies gone too soon. As each candle is lit, a wave of light travels across the globe, creating a beautiful reminder that love never fades, and no family walks this journey alone. 🤍

Today, we remember the precious babies whose lives were far too short, the families who carry their memories every day, and the love that continues long after loss.

Whether your baby was lost to SIDS, stillbirth, miscarriage, or any other cause, your baby matters. Your grief matters. Your story matters. You are not alone.
