It's that time of year! Come join Champaign County Ohio Master Gardener Volunteers for their annual holiday version of the Make It Take It event, this year on November 20 at 6:30 p.m., at the Champaign County Community Center in the Auditorium. Register by November 18 at go.osu.edu/makeit and be aware that pre-registration and pre-payment are required as spaces are limited, and this event fills up very quickly. We look forward to seeing you there!

Shout-out to Stevens Family Orchard in Champaign County, Ohio for generously supporting the Great Apple Crunch! Thanks to your fresh, locally grown apples, 212 students were able to celebrate National Farm to School Month with a healthy and delicious crunch.

OSU Extension Champaign County is proud to partner with local producers like Stevens Family Orchard to connect youth with agriculture, nutrition, and STEM education. Together, we’re growing a healthier, more connected community—one bite at a time!

Celebrating National Farm to School Month in Champaign County!
A local K–5 STEM educator, from Graham Local Schools is hosting the Great Apple Crunch for 212 enthusiastic students, highlighting the importance of local agriculture and healthy eating. In collaboration, OSU Extension Champaign County, created engaging informational bags filled with nutrition facts and Agricultural STEM-based activities to reinforce learning beyond the event.
This initiative marks the beginning of a growing partnership between OSU Extension and local schools to celebrate Farm to School Month. Looking ahead, there's strong potential to expand efforts through:

Future Farm to School initiatives:
Collaborations with local producers
Increased involvement from the local Ag Council
Community-wide partnerships to promote agricultural education and wellness

Together, we’re planting seeds for lifelong health, learning, and local pride.

Who all is excited for this year's Farm Science Review? This is the final day to get FSR tickets at presale prices! Tickets are $10 at your local OSU extension office. After today, tickets are $15 and must be purchased at the gate. See you all there!
