If you have a passion for working with kids, teaching the fundamentals, and helping young athletes grow both on and off the field, we’d love to hear from you. Coaching experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and willingness to mentor are what matter most.

We’re excited to welcome Dyllon Lafferty as our new Youth Football Director! With fresh energy and leadership, he is dedicated to creating a positive environment where players can grow both on and off the field. We’re looking forward to an exciting season ahead under his guidance!

Message from Dyllon:

“Hello everyone,

First off, I would like to thank the board for giving me the opportunity, and trusting me, to be your Little Climber Football Director. I believe with everyone’s help we can do great things for these young athletes.

My wife (Alyssa) and I have two boys that will be playing in the program this upcoming season, Dawson and Beau. Even though our families’ football journey is just beginning, we deeply care about Urbana athletics, the kids, and the culture we want to build.

Our youth programs are the foundation. We will need to set standards and build a culture of success for our youth athletes to help set them up going forward, all while developing and having fun. As Director this will be a top priority moving into next season that is quickly approaching.

My wife and I look forward to giving back to this program, our community, and the youth athletes.”

The Football Director position is now open and we are taking applications.

All interested applicants please email [email protected] giving a brief description of why you should be considered for the Football Director position and include your relevant experience. If you have an applicable resume, please attach to the email.

The deadline is February 27th @ 11:00pm, and interviews will take place the week of March 1st, 2026.
