Westview Wildcats walked to school on Wednesday! (say that five times fast 😆)

This Champaign school showed up and showed out for International Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day yesterday. It was so exciting to see students, parents, and teachers filling the sidewalk with walkers and the street with bicycles and scooters. What a great way to start the day!

A huge shout out goes to Champaign Unit 4 Schools Board Member Justin Michael Hendrix for helping our students stay safe on their walk, and to Friends of Westview Elementary for promoting the day - we could not have done this without you!

It's time to dust off those bikes after a long winter and get rolling! But don't just kick up and go — make sure your bike is still up to s***f. 🚲⤵️

Clear sidewalks help students get to school safely! ☃️🚸 After a snowfall of 2 or more inches, please consider shoveling your sidewalk, especially if you live near a school.

The C-U SRTS Project makes shoveling easier for our neighbors: if you sign up to shovel on our website, you can borrow a snow shovel for the season! Visit cu-srtsproject.com/snow-removal to learn more.
