On Monday, May 4th, our seven project teams presented the incredible work they developed throughout the semester. We are so proud of the creativity, dedication, and impact reflected in each project, with teams addressing issues related to environmental sustainability, the Champaign-Urbana community, student housing, mental health, community service, and transportation.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our teams! Be sure to look out for our recruitment events next semester if you are interested in joining a project team and making an impact with DFA UIUC!

March 27-29th Design for America at UIUC hosted “Design for X” a three day human centered product design competition. We had an amazing turn out of 14 teams of 2-4 members each all competing for 3 Fiddler Innovation Awards totaling in over $1000. Thank you for everyone who participated, we were incredibly impressed with all the work each and every team did throughout the weekend. A very special shout out to our three winning teams

DFA x SCD HCD Trivia Night Recap!
On October 7th Design for America at UIUC partnered with the Siebel Center for Design to host a trivia night centered around Human Centered Design.
This event was aimed to educate students on the HCD process that both of our organizations practice.
In addition to HCD learning we offered prizes and chipotle to our 50+ participants! Thank you to everyone who participated💙🧡
