Thank you to Urbana City Schools Superintendent Charles Thiel and Treasurer Mandy Hildebrand for joining us as guest speakers.
Mr. Thiel shared valuable insight on the proposed 1% Earned Income Tax Levy, and he and Mrs. Hildebrand did a great job explaining the structure and reasoning behind it. We appreciate their time, transparency, and willingness to answer thoughtful questions from our members.

Thank you to Jessica Henry, Deputy Director of the Champaign Aviation Museum, for speaking to the Urbana Lions Club!
Jessica shared the inspiring story of the museum — from its beginnings in 2005 with the arrival of a B-17 Flying Fortress, through its volunteer-driven restoration work, to the current project of building a G-model B-17 from scratch.
With the mission “Touching Lives by Restoring History,” the museum offers free admission, hands-on workshop tours, and education at its core.
We truly appreciated her visit and the great insight she provided!

Last night, members of the Urbana Lions Club rolled up our sleeves and volunteered at the Wherehouse Food Pantry in Urbana, Ohio. We helped sort, pack, and prepare food boxes to support families and individuals in our community who need a helping hand.
It’s always rewarding to give back and see the direct impact we can make—because “Lions Serve. It’s that simple.” 💛🦁
A huge thank you to the Wherehouse team for the warm welcome and important work they do every day. Where God’s love meets practical needs! 🙏
