Thank you, Upper St. Clair for the support, energy, and conversations during this election. We are especially grateful for the efforts of all volunteers and the Upper St. Clair Democratic Committee, who all worked tirelessly to support our campaign over the last 11 months.

Although the outcome is not what we hoped and worked for, we’re proud of the effort to engage the community on issues that affect all of us in USC - and will continue to be dedicated to the efforts our campaign strived for.

Congratulations to the winners, we wish you all of the best.

🌟 Why Vote on November 7th? Here Are 5 Compelling Reasons! πŸ—³οΈ

Your Voice Matters: Voting is your chance to stand up for the issues you care about like public transportation, raising minimum wage, and funding local schools. In 2021, Pew Research Center found that local elections directly impact community policy more than national ones. Make your voice heard!

Local Leaders, Big Impact: Evidence shows that when Democratic leaders govern, communities often see positive change. For instance, a 2022 study by the National Bureau of Economic Research found cities under Democratic leadership experienced significant improvements in areas like education and healthcare.

Safety and Well-Being: Communities led by Democrats have made strides in public safety and health. The American Journal of Public Health in 2023 reported a notable decrease in community health issues in cities with Democratic leadership, underscoring the importance of your vote.

Economic Growth: Voting for Democratic leadership can also lead to economic improvements. According to the Economic Policy Institute, cities that elected Democratic mayors in the last election cycle saw higher wages and job growth compared to their counterparts.

Environmental Action: Democratic leaders often prioritize environmental policies. A 2023 study from the Environmental Performance Index showed that municipalities with Democratic administrations had better air quality, more green spaces, and robust recycling programs.

This November 7th, your vote has the power to continue these positive trends. Let’s vote for progress, for community, and for a better tomorrow!
