We are once again hosting our annual Glenn Kuenzli memorial Youth Pheasant Hunt on Saturday October 31st. It will be held at the Dave Courtad Farm located at 4757 County Hwy. 55, Upper Sandusky (Please note that Google Maps might place the farm incorrectly, it is East of US 23). Boys and Girls ages 11 through 17 may participate by registering on the Upland Events platform link below. There is no cost to participate.

To be eligible the hunter must meet the age requirement, have completed the Hunter Education Course by the day of the hunt, have a valid 2026 Ohio Hunting License and be accompanied by an adult. However, if you need additional assistance with your youngster let us know ahead of time and we can pair them with a mentor. We also have a couple of youth sh****ns available if needed. Please make prior arrangements with Kevin Ward in advance if so.

Space is limited. If you prefer a morning or afternoon starting time, please select your preferred time on the online registration. We are also co-sponsoring an advanced youth pheasant hunt with Hardin Co. Pheasants Forever on Sunday November 1st at Killdeer Plains. It is a more realistic wild bird hunt which is geared towards older, experienced youth hunters who have the ability to get through heavy cover. Have you ever wanted to learn how to hunt upland birds? Wyandot County PF, Hardin County PF and the ODNR Ohio Division of Wildlife (DOW) are sponsoring a Learn to Pheasant Hunt program this fall. Participants must be 16 years old or older, possess an Ohio hunting license by November 1st (hunter safety courses are available in-person, or online, through the DOW) and not have hunted upland game before. The program is truly geared towards new hunters. There will be (2) two-hour classes 5:00 - 7:00 pm, including clay bird shooting, 9/23 and 10/14 at the Broken Bird in Hancock Co. Actual bird hunting will take place with dog handlers on Nov. 1st. See the link below for more information and to sign up, or QR code in the comments. Class size is quite limited.

What a great night for our Lady’s Learn to Shoot Night!! We had 18 shooters this evening with a lot of first time shooters enjoying the outdoors with shooting sports. Thank you everyone who came to participate, our volunteers who made it happen, and Rogers Lake 1748 for hosting us!

In addition a huge thank you to all of our supporters and sponsors that help us make these great events possible throughout the year!!

We had a great evening with a bunch of super youngsters! All the kids practiced safe gun handling and seemed to have a 'blast' 😁 A huge thank you to all of the volunteers that made it hapoen!
