Dawne B. Garner Health & Wellness Foundation, Inc. Our mission is to help improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by or Tara Garner, Executive Director, established the Dawne B.

Garner Health &Wellness Foundation on July 20, 2010 to remember the life and legacy of her mother, Dawne Ann Buttone Garner (February 24, 1942-July 20, 2000). Dawne was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes after her second pregnancy. During her third pregnancy, she began to experience kidney failure which resulted in the death of her daughter, Anna. Later in life, Dawne received a kidney transplant

which lasted longer than the doctor’s expected. They gave it a life expectancy of seven years, but it lasted for nine years. In 1999, she encountered a stroke and suffered from several seizures. With enormous strength and endurance, she fought hard and long against her health battles until Thursday, July 20, 2000; a true warrior in heart and spirit! Dawne Ann Buttone Garner the inspiration behind the Dawne B. Garner Health & Wellness Foundation.
