After helping over 80 pets find loving homes at our last event, we’re so excited to partner once again with Prince George’s County Animal Shelter and Brandywine Valley SPCA - Washington, DC for another day full of wagging tails, happy families, and life-changing adoption matches.

We’ll also be joined by Beyond a Buddy, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and PJ’s Coffee Capitol Heights!

✨FOSTER SPOTLIGHT: CHASE A571850✨

Chase has been growing and thriving with us for 30 days!!! Yay! Today Chase weighs in at 38.3 pounds - a gain of 14.3 pounds in just 30 days - to say he is an eager eater is to miss the excitement he displays at every meal and snack!

This week Chase experienced his first “big dog” walk to the shopping center. We visited the Lowe’s store and peeked in at the CVS, the Parcel Plus, and the Safeway (he didn’t want to leave). Chase loves people and wants to meet EVERYONE he sees though I keep him on a very short leash and impose a strict no-petting rule for the humans.

Chase loves to chase a tennis ball, and LOVES to chase a flirt pole - man it’s near impossible to get him to let go! Though completely quiet in the house, Chase patrols the yard and barks at strangers across the street, and announces the arrival of Amazon and UPS trucks - he’s become the Little Man of the house!

He remains consistent in his housebroken outdoor bathroom habits, and has adjusted well to walking on a harness and leash. And the sweetest thing is he sleeps so peacefully like a little angel without a care in the world - that fact alone makes us super happy.
