One year ago today we officially launched 👏🏾 . My amazing non-profit providing tools for our younger girls to succeed.

Now here we are a year later selecting scholarship winners!

It has always been a dream of mine to provide scholarships to graduating Seniors.

Sweets Girlz Inc. helps teens remove the everyday struggles of fear, doubt, and low self-esteem by equipping girls with the tools they need to be confident, outgoing, leaders of the future.

This year Sweets Girlz Inc. has partnered with the 2019 Miss Black District of Columbia to award
* First place : one (1) eligible high school senior a $500 book scholarship
* Second place: one (1) eligible high school senior $250 Target gift card toward dorm supplies

These scholarships are open to all 2019-2020 graduating high school senior girls in the DMV area.

Winners will be notified and will be given a trunk party before going to college.

This party is all about getting girls ages 11-18 excited about their future. We will focus on goal setting for every area of their life: healthy relationships, educational achievements, career aspirations, self-image, positive attitude and some powerful words and or phrases to motivate them through it all.
This party is more than just putting pictures on a board . This is about making dreams visible because "If you can see it, you can achieve it!" .
