🗣️ NEW PROGRAM ALERT! If you know a young person who is at-risk, justice-involved, or has an incarcerated parent; This is the program that will prepare them and care for them!
presents “Beyond the Barriers” for Youth ages 12-17.

The Beyond the Barriers Program will meet on Saturday afternoons and serve as a diversion and early intervention program for youth who are now, or at-risk of becoming, justice involved. The program will provide mentoring, life-skills, tutoring, financial literacy, creative arts, job readiness and mental health therapeutic groups for those assessed for that need.

The 12-week program will culminate with a weekend retreat and graduation ceremony where youth will celebrate their accomplishments with high energy games and intentional breakout groups with their peers and mentors.

The FBCG Prison Ministry and New Mindz Ministries (NMM) offer a weekly mentoring support group for Returning Citizens (Redeemed & Restored) for men and women ages 18 years and older. Participants will receive group mentoring, life skills, education, workforce/job readiness training and a safe space to process their reintegration plan.

A certificate and graduation ceremony will take place for the men and women who complete at least 10 of the 12-week sessions and completion of the program leads to the opportunity to serve as a mentor/facilitator for the Redeemed and Restored Group.

The R&R Reentry Group returns THURSDAY, February 13th 2025 and will meet every Thursday in person and virtually. Most R&R facilitators are successful formerly-incarcerated persons (FIPs) who now live Pro-social lifestyles and the R&R curriculum uses an “expert by experience” model that focuses on transformation after incarceration!
