Revelations 1 and the description of Jesus' appearance therein do not testify of his earthly/human body; no, our brother John was testifying about something greater! He had seen and given testimony to the Glory of Our Lord Jesus, the soon-coming but already-risen and exalted [majestic] King! 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞: https://conta.cc/47CpJoI.

Confidence misplaced is dangerous for Believers. It's like a white flag surrendering to the enemy. We give up our peace, joy, hope, and assurance, the things the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. Psalm 118:8 says, "It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man"; well, 'man' means mankind and, or human beings, and it includes ourselves. Let's not be deceived and believe that self-confidence is a pre-requisite for Believers; however, confidence [firm trust, faith, and belief] in God Our Father is the requirement. Family, let us remember that the encounters people have with us bear witness to our Father in Heaven, and when we don't represent Him correctly, how do we expect others to believe in Him? So, today, I want you to examine yourself and ask yourself: what is my belief, and what does it look like to me and others?

The Israelites were not experiencing lack because they had God; whatever they needed, they could've asked. It was His honor and satisfaction to be the Lord, their God. But they constantly treated God like He wasn't enough - never satisfied with His provision and always doubting His ability to provide. So what am I trying to tell you? I'm warning you to be careful with ungratefulness as it can unintentionally become a sin (greed/covetousness/lust) and is undoubtedly disrespectful to God. Practice gratitude (redirect your heart and mind to revere God) even if the provision wasn't what you expected; GOD STILL PROVIDED, and with Him, you lack nothing. Praise to the Lord, Our God; provider, sustainer, the Great I AM.

In our offenses, we make statements such as "the world always has something to say about Christians", but have we considered that the world has been deeply disappointed and let down by Christians? They've been looking at us and expecting to see virtue, righteousness, integrity, self-control, love, and brotherly kindness as mentioned in 2 Peter 1:5-8, so when they open their mouths in judgment for the lack of these things displayed in God's people (in other words, us failing to meet the standard of God's Word), they are providing us with a report card and opportunity to correct ourselves. I don't believe that many who have walked away from the church ever wanted to be able to point us out in this way; they wanted to see us step up and show the light and love of Jesus.

The years of the pandemic have taken their toll on most of us. We are beginning to witness the world transition to its worst, which is why we've decided to focus this month on LOVE.

Many people do not know or haven't accepted the immense love of God, which is Jesus Christ; therefore, they are hurting while lost. As we reflect on love, this is the first scripture that comes to our hearts and minds:

"𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒔𝒐 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅, 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒈𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝑺𝒐𝒏, 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒐𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒏 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒉, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆. 𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝑺𝒐𝒏 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅; 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝒎𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒃𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒅." - 𝑱𝒐𝒉𝒏 3:16-17, 𝑲𝑱𝑽

We challenge and encourage you this month to share the Gospel of Truth with the world, emphasizing this: God Loves the World, and His proof is Jesus Christ.
