Last week, members of Melwood Community Service’s Meaningful Day Program helped friends and neighbors establish flower and vegetable gardens at their group home in Arlington. The community event, hosted by the Arlington County Virginia – Government, brought together people with disabilities, master gardeners, OSG building inclusive communities, Encircle, and Melwood Community Services for an inclusive, enriching, educational event.

Big dreams became real businesses as 20 entrepreneurs graduated from Workforce Innovation Success Through Entrepreneurship at the WISH Center. This one-time program was a partnership between Melwood, George Mason University, and the Fairfax County Government. Their ideas are already making an impact.
