💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month💜

Maryland Senate Bill 35 officially designates October 1 annually as "Purple Lights Night" across the state to honor domestic violence victims and survivors and to support the elimination of domestic violence.

Everyone has a role to play:
-Talk to loved ones about healthy relationships, red flags, and DV
-Create a culture of consent in your home
-Use social media to raise awareness among your peers
-Advocate for policies that support survivors and their families
-Give hope by donating time, goods, or funds to your local programs against DV.

After the hustle and bustle of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, GivingTuesday is a day where people all over the world come together to support their favorite nonprofits.
Will you celebrate with us?
This year, Prince George’s County Family Justice Center Foundation has set an ambitious GivingTuesday goal. This goal will help double the number of kids that will have the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive through their participation at The Prince George’s County Family Justice Center’s Camp Hope.
If you would like to donate, please click on the link in our bio
