Saturday September 5th, 2026 10am - 12:30pm at Rodman Nature Preserve with the 2026 Lake County Poet Laureate, Roy Arthur Blodgett

Learn about the poetic art of Sonnets followed by a gentle trail walk through the Rodman Preserve with individual reflections and ending with an easy and relaxing collective poem exercise.
Snacks, refreshments, writing tool and notepads will be provided.
Nature through art!

This Sunday support local conservation of natural resources while enjoying live music, local w**es, and snacks. On Sunday, August 9 at 2:00 PM, the historic Soper Reese Theatre in Lakeport comes alive with music for a cause, and you're invited!!

This summer, the Lake County Land Trust is trading our usual fall dinner for something new: an intimate, soulful afternoon of live music featuring Trio Americana — Lincoln Andrews on bass, Matt Rothstein on soprano saxophone, and Gabriel Yanez on percussion, joined by two talented special guests! Together they'll take you through jazz, gospel, folk, and American rhythmic traditions in a performance that's less "concert" and more shared experience.

Settle into reserved seating, sip a glass of local w**e, grab some concessions, and enjoy an afternoon that sounds as good as it feels — because every ticket goes straight toward protecting, conserving, and restoring the lands and waters that make Lake County home.

Don't Miss this day with fun for kids of all ages (and adults too!) Try the "Rodman Preserve Junior Naturalist Passport" with a chance to EXPLORE - DISCOVER - LEARN - PROTECT at ten nature Discovery Stations set up at the beautiful Rodman Preserve. Come anytime between 10am-2PM. Volunteers, naturalists, biologist, and Redbud Audubon Society will be on hand to guide.
