Task II Production in Upper Darby Township Traffic and Parking Alert

The Emmy-winning, HBO Series, Task will continue production for season two in Upper Darby Township. Scenes will be shot in and around the Llanerch Diner (95 E. Township Ln, Upper Darby, Pa)

Anticipated Filming/Work Times will be:

Monday, August 31st, 7am-Tuesday, September 1st, 7am

Restricted Parking for the following areas:

● Southside of West Chester Pike between E Township Line Rd
and N Brighton Ave

● Both sides of S Harwood Rd between West Chester Pike and
Monroe Ave, quarter block closer to West Chester Pike

● Northside of West Chester Pike between N Harwood Rd and N Brighton Ave

● Northside of West Chester Pike between E Township Line Rd

and N Harwood Rd, half block closer to N Harwood Rd

● Both sides of Bewley Rd between E Township Line Rd and N Harwood Ave

● Both sides of N Harwood Ave between West Chester Pike and N Brighton Ave closer to N Harwood Rd

● Both sides of Bewley Rd between E Township Line Rd and N Harwood Ave

Parking signs will be posted in these areas during production.

The last piece of open natural forested land in Upper Darby is on the brink of being developed. We will lose hundreds of trees that are keeping our air and water clean, sheltering wildlife, protecting us from flooding! The Mozino Tract, 15 acres of forested land next to the Collenbrook Stream across from the Drexeline Shopping Center is in the hands of a developer who wants to put 143 housing units there including an 8 story apartment complex on top of retail space. WE CAN'T LET THAT HAPPEN! Please come to the Upper Darby Twp Council Meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, June 17th at 7 pm and raise your voice to protect this space. Public Comment will be limited, so bring a sign that you can hold in front of you that sends your message to the Council Members that you want them to find a way to keep this space open and forested. Tell your family, friends and neighbors in Upper Darby no matter whether you live in 19082 or 19026. What happens here impacts ALL Upper Darby Residents. Let's pack the room!
