Thank you to Ciaran Cannon, Minister for the Diaspora and International Development for the invite to join him on board the LE Samual Beckett on Saturday. It was great to hear about the great work of the Irish Navy and get a good understanding of how the vessel works.

Then on Sunday, we had our final practice for the Philadelphia International Dragon Boat Festival which takes place this Saturday - first race at 8am. Come hang out with us and cheer us along, tent 81 on Kelly Drive.

Help support our team as we get ready for the International Dragon Boat Festival October 5th in Philadelphia

For the second year in a row, the Foroige Philadelphia club will enter the Philadelphia Dragon Boat Festival with the goal to not tip over into the Schuylkill!

Great news - next Wednesday, September 4th we will be having our first meeting after the summer break, 7-8.30pm at the Irish Immigration Center.

Our first activity will be the Philadelphia International Dragon Boat Festival - we will be organizing our team and our practice schedule as we prepare for the festival on October 5th.

New members always welcome!

Fourth of July in Louisburgh was tremendous! We were thrilled to welcome several Foróige representatives including CEO, Sean Campbell to an Independence Day barbecue!
