The Marching Pageantry Arts Museum (MPAM) continued its popular monthly series aimed at bringing together fans, alumni, and supporters of the marching arts for an evening of fun, connection, and friendly competition.
The series, “Trivia Night at the Museum,” continues to gain momentum and has quickly become a favorite among drum corps enthusiasts.
This past Wednesday night, MPAM partnered with the Hawthorne Caballeros to host another highly successful installment. An enthusiastic group of participants gathered to test their knowledge of Caballeros history, traditions, and iconic moments in a lively and engaging 90-minute competition.
Serving as Master of Ceremonies for the evening was drum corps legend Tom Beebe, who did an outstanding job guiding the event. His presence brought both credibility and energy to the night, enhancing the experience for all involved.
Attendees enjoyed a dynamic mix of competition, learning, and camaraderie. Questions ranged from historical highlights to insider knowledge, celebrating the enduring legacy of the Caballeros while strengthening bonds within the drum corps community.
Top honors for the evening went to:
1. Josh Katz
2. George Lea
3. Jenna Foley
Josh Katz, earning the highest overall score, was awarded a special prize of two free tickets to the Grand Prix competition. Congratulations to all of the evening’s top finishers.
Looking ahead, MPAM has announced that the next Trivia Night at the Museum will take place on August 26th and will feature the Madison Scouts. Registration for the event is expected to open in mid-July through MPAM and partner social media channels.
Interest in the series continues to expand, with additional drum corps organizations expressing enthusiasm about collaborating on future events. More details will be shared as plans are finalized.
Beyond hosting engaging programs like Trivia Night, MPAM remains dedicated to preserving the history and culture of the drum corps activity. The museum’s collection has grown to more than 250,000 pieces of memorabilia, reflecting the passion and generosity of supporters nationwide.
With this growth comes the need for a larger, more accessible facility. MPAM is actively seeking support for relocation efforts to better preserve and showcase its expanding collection.
Contributions of any size are welcomed and will help ensure that the legacy of drum corps continues to be protected for future generations.
MPAM encourages marching members, alumni, and fans to take part in upcoming Trivia Night events.
With a blend of competition, community, and celebration of shared history, the series continues to establish itself as a standout experience in the drum corps world.
