Good Evening
Today the Upper Darby American Legion Post #214 delivered non-perishable food items, coats, hats, gloves, and specially marked containers for our unhoused veterans to Chef Lamont Harris in Chester.
Chef Lamont Harris has an upcoming Thanksgiving event and resources were needed

A proud veteran of the United States Navy, Chef Lamont Harris has one of the longest serving nonprofits in Delco, serving those in need around and in Chester.
We support all of our servicemen and women
Keep up the great work!.

Thank you to Jessica, Kimberly and Kris Dwarka for the chicken platters they delivered to us for the code blue tonight. Kris is a local small business owner. He owns a Barbershop in Upper Darby. I am sorry I didn’t get the address but the name is Marvin’s Barber Shop

Sorry this is late. We want to Thank, Gen. Smedley Butler Unit Marine Corps League Auxiliary for the great donations they gave to us for Code Blue this week. On Wednesday they brought it to us. Some of it was used that night and Friday night.

There will be a code blue 12/26 and 12/27. We are not a shelter. We have a warming center. Doors will open at 6:00 pm each night

Code Blue Returning soon.
We will be doing a code blue again this year. We will keep you posted. Right now we need the following items to help us out:

Men and womens underwear all sizes please
Thick socks for the winter
mens shoes all sizes please
Lemonade powder drink mix
9 oz cups
bowls. spoons. forks nqpkins
sugar
hot chocolate
water
oatmeal
cup a soup
Any help that you can give us will greatly be appreicated
You can call 610-352-0702 and leave a message and/or you can drop off items every Wednesday After 1:00 pm til 8:00 pm
