Almost 4 months after the murder of Fanta Bility, we are still unaware about which officers from the Sharon Hill Police Department pulled their triggers. What we do know is that Fanta lost her life due to their inexcusable behavior and are not being held accountable. Delaware County DA Jack Stollsteimer has demonstrated a pattern of behavior where his relationship with law enforcement outweighs the needs of the community. This is now a national call to action.
On Thursday, January 13, we have organized a rally with UDTJ. We will recognize and remember the life of 8-year old Fanta Bility and demand that the Sharon Hill officers be held accountable for her murder. We demand that Delaware County DA Jack Stollsteimer takes accountability as a prosecutor and ensure that two Black teens, Hasein and Angelo, are not stripped of their future for a crime committed by Sharon Hill officers.
Thursday, January 13 is a significant date in Fanta’s case. Hasein and Angelo are scheduled to have their preliminary court hearing on this day at 11am. We demand that the first degree murder charges are dropped. The families of Fanta, Hasein, and Angelo need the support of the community now more than ever. Join us at the Springfield District Court on the 13th at noon as we fight for justice for Fanta, and the futures of Hasein and Angelo. Spread the word, bring a friend, and continue to sign the petition.
