Tonight RWB held a special outreach to participate in the Red Sand Project. Family Support Line Child Advocacy Centerand Delaware County Victim Assistance Center asked organizations across the county to spread red sand in the cracks of the side walk as a way to recognize victims of human trafficking who have fallen through the cracks.
We serve an extremely vulnerable community when working with the SUD and Mental Health community, so this was an important project for us to participate in.
So many people passing by wanted to get involved, wanted information on what is happening right here in Delaware County. We even spoke to a father whose daughter has experienced human trafficking and was able to provide him with resources.
