Throwback Thursday! Check out that mullet! Here's one of the first Sigmabetans, Dr. Kevin Diller, or as we refer to him, Alpha. Alpha lived on the floor from the Fall of 1989 to the Spring of 1992, before the nickname tradition began. Sigma Beta gave Alpha his name in the Fall of 2011 - Alpha meaning first, since he lived on the floor during its first year of existence. A Public Response to this Morning’s Prank:

Dear Men of BHONE (1st Bergwall),

We forgive you.

Despite our initial annoyance this morning, we have discovered something odd---we are actually pleased. Pleased that you, men of BHONE, have chosen to do something actually notable and interesting.

For far too long you have accepted a life dull and forgotten, unimaginative, and in a state of inadequacy, neglecting the greatness of your past. For far too long you have lived in the shadows of the unchallenged glory of Sigma Beta.

We applaud you for your moment of ambition. May it be the catalyst that destroys your apathy and gives you the heart to scale the peak of prowess and restore your legacy of cachet and dignity.

We don't know who you are. We don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, we can tell that we don't have money—we’re college students. But what we do have is a very particular set of skills; skills that enabled us to cut our way out of roped-off rooms this morning. Skills that make us a nightmare for people like you. If you turn yourselves in now, that'll be the end of it. We will not look for you, we will not pursue you. But if you don't, we will look for you, we will find you, and we will torment you.
