Siouxland Community Potluck Coalition Building community through monthly potluck dinners in Siouxland. Everyone is welcome—no cost, no requirements.

Share a meal, enjoy activities, and help us bridge the gap between those who have a little extra and those who need a little extra. Mission:
Bringing people together, one dish at a time. Who We Are:
The Siouxland Community Potluck Coalition hosts monthly community dinners designed to foster connection, inclusivity, and support. Our events are fully open to everyone—regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, orientation, religion, or socioeconomic status. What We Do:

Host free community potluck dinners on the first Thursday of each month
Encourage those who can to bring a dish, while welcoming anyone who simply wants to join
Donate all leftover food to the local warming shelter to help those in need
Create a space where neighbors can share a meal, build relationships, and strengthen our community

Why It Matters:
We aim to bridge the gap between those who have a little extra and those who need a little extra help—without highlighting differences. Our goal is to build unity and belonging through shared experiences. Get Involved:
✅ Attend an event
✅ Bring a dish to share
✅ Volunteer to help with setup, serving, or cleanup
✅ Spread the word

Normally, we make a cute image and throw together a reel with audio and really put our Canva skills to use to make a thank you post after potluck… but here’s the thing. Sometimes a potluck is SO MUCH FUN that by the time we get home, we are SAPPED. Thank you SO MUCH to our performers and volunteers and sponsors for making last night possible! We had FOUR kinds of chili to take take to The Warming Shelter last night, as well as enough trinkets and goodies for them to make goodie bags for all the families with kids in their care (and then some!) plus a huge bag of candy and some trick or treat buckets. On top of that, our Executive Director learned how to put on fake eyelashes. You can’t put a price tag on skill sharing!
