We Remember - A Night for Veterans

Last week was a pretty special moment for A Night for Veterans.

We were honored to present a $20,000 check to U.S.VETS – Inland Empire, helping support their work serving veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness right here in our community.

This is what A Night for Veterans is all about.

Every ticket purchased, sponsorship, auction bid, donation, and volunteer hour helps make moments like this possible. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported our event and helped us turn one special evening into real assistance for local veterans.

U.S.VETS – Inland Empire provides veterans and their families with critical resources, including housing assistance and other support designed to help veterans regain stability and independence.

$20,000 is more than a check. It represents what our community can accomplish when we come together for those who served us.

And we're not done yet. As we prepare for our 12th Annual We Remember: A Night for Veterans on October 16, 2026, we're looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish together next.

As we prepare for our 12th Annual We Remember: A Night for Veterans, we’ve been reflecting on the remarkable veterans we’ve had the privilege of honoring over the years.

Each honoree has a unique story of service, sacrifice, courage, and continued commitment to others. They represent different branches of the military, generations of service, and conflicts ranging from World War II and Vietnam to Iraq, Afghanistan, and beyond.

Many of these extraordinary veterans continued serving long after leaving the military—mentoring fellow veterans, supporting their communities, advocating for others, and helping ensure that no veteran is forgotten.

Our Honorees page highlights many of the incredible men and women we’ve recognized during our first 11 events. While it is not yet a complete collection of every past honoree, it offers a meaningful look at the people and stories that have shaped A Night for Veterans.

We were honored to present a $5,000 donation to the Reaching New Heights Foundation in support of their incredible mission of "Serving Those Who Served."

Reaching New Heights Foundation helps veterans overcome some of life's toughest challenges by providing transitional housing assistance, mentoring, employment and education resources, access to VA benefits, emergency support, and programs that help veterans successfully transition back into civilian life. They also play a vital role in supporting Veterans Treatment Courts throughout the Inland Empire, giving veterans a second chance and a path forward.

None of this would be possible without the generous support of everyone who attends and contributes to our annual We Remember: A Night for Veterans dinner. Every ticket purchased, sponsorship secured, auction item donated, and bid placed helps make moments like this possible.

As we celebrate America's 250th Independence Day this Fourth of July, we're reminded how fortunate we are to call this country home.

The freedoms we enjoy every day didn't happen by accident—they were earned and have been protected for generations by the brave men and women who have served our nation. To all of our veterans, active-duty service members, and their families, thank you for your sacrifice, courage, and unwavering commitment to keeping America safe.

Today, let's come together to appreciate the incredible blessings of living in this great nation, cherish time with family and friends, and remember those who made our freedom possible.

From our family to yours, we wish everyone a happy, safe, and unforgettable Fourth of July as we celebrate 250 years of American independence.

Today we had the honor of presenting a $2,500 donation to American Legion Joe Dominguez Post 742 in Corona.

Post 742 does incredible work supporting veterans and their families by helping veterans transition to civilian life, connecting them with VA resources and benefits, providing Honor Guard services, organizing memorial ceremonies, supporting local families, and hosting youth and community programs. We are proud to know that this donation will help continue those important efforts and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have served our country.

Thank you to everyone at American Legion Post 742 for your dedication to our veterans and our community. It is an honor to support your mission and to give back to those who have given so much.
