The Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program is a 501C3 non-profit scholarship program that provides young women in New Hampshire with scholarship awards. The Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Competition takes place in late April of each year. Our current reigning Miss Lake Sunapee Region 2022-2023 is Megan Elwell. Megan is currently a junior at Plymouth State University pursuing Elementary Education, with the goal to work as a special education teacher. Her social impact is “Gun Safety is No Accident: Educating Youth and Their Families on the Importance of Gun Safety”. She spends her time educating others on the importance of all aspects of safety when using, storing, or in the presence of a fi***rm. A few fun facts about Megan is that her favorite animals are manatees and cows, she enjoys camping, and she has been dancing since the age of 3! Megan is so excited to take to the Miss NH stage in April and is honored to be serving the Lake Sunapee Region.
