The official page of the CISC that promotes the Irish Setter, Ethical Breeders and the Irish Setter Enthusiast. We become recognized by AKC in 2014.

In February 2013 talk began about starting a new club. In November, 2013 we received Irish Setter Club of America approval to form and invited Irish Setter owners and breeders in our area to join. Founding members were Gloria Askins, Nancy Godbey, Darla Ladkau & Carolyn Hills.

Sheer determination!

One of our Junior members, Mallory Hamlin, did us proud! Her family decided to attend the Irish Setter Club of Ohio specialties last weekend and Mallory and Gaelic won 2 (yes 2!) 5 point majors there!! As you can tell by the pic she was exceptionally excited and happy! lol.

Some other club members were in attendance and were there cheering her on! A big thanks to the Ohio Club for being so hospitable and welcoming!

Congrats again to Mallory, mom Angela and of course Gaelic!!

As we approach near record temperatures in the Carolinas, please remember to keep your dogs cool and comfortable. Limit time outside, provide fresh cool water, use foot protection if walking on pavement and under no circumstances DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PETS IN YOUR CARS!!!!

If you love your pets, protect them from the near 100 degrees temps!
