Hello everybodeeeeeeeee! It is I, Grover! 💙

I’m an adorable Double Merle Great Dane, and just like my Sesame Street namesake, I have a few special quirks! I’m deaf, and while my eyes have a starburst appearance and I can see some shadows, I still take in the world in my own special way.

Now, I may not be quite as confident as my blue monster buddy just yet, but I’m getting there! Over the past few months, I’ve been coming out of my shell and starting to seek out my humans for love and attention. Turns out, there’s a little Super Grover in me after all! I just need a little time, patience, and someone who believes in me.

My start in life wasn’t the easiest. I was a stray living on the streets, so it takes me a little while to feel comfortable with new people and unfamiliar situations. I can be cautious at first, but once I know I’m safe, my sweet personality starts to shine. And when I trust you, you’ll get to see just how much love I have to give. ❤️

I’m hoping to find a forever home with a medium or large doggie sibling who can be my buddy, show me the ropes, and help me feel more confident. Having a canine friend by my side would make a big difference for me. After all, even Super Grover needs his team!

I’ve been working hard on my training, too! I’m learning sit and come, and I’m practicing making eye contact with my foster mom so I can better understand what she’s asking me to do. I still have lots to learn, but I’m making progress every day. With a patient family, a little encouragement, and continued training, I know I can become an amazing companion.

I may not be leaping tall buildings in a single bound just yet, but I promise I have so much potential. All I need is someone willing to give me a chance and help me discover just how wonderful life can be. Could that someone be you? 🐾

Meet Denise ❤️ This sweet gal may have an underdeveloped eye, but that doesn’t slow her down one bit. Denise is full of joy, energy, and affection, and she’s always ready to have some fun. She’s a stunning double merle girl with no hearing issues and a whole lot of personality.

Denise especially loves playing with older, bigger Danes. She’s happiest when she has a furry friend to romp around with and keep her busy. She’s already doggy-door trained and is picking up her leash manners quickly. She’s smart, adaptable, and loves being around people and other dogs.

Now Denise is looking for a family who will appreciate her playful personality, give her plenty of love and guidance, and continue helping her learn. She has so much love to give and would bring plenty of fun (and probably a little bit of chaos!) to the right home.

Phoenix is a beautiful Great Dane girl with a sweet, gentle personality. She can be a little unsure at first, but once she feels safe and knows her surroundings, she settles in and shows you what a good girl she is.

Phoenix is currently underweight and will need a family who is willing to help her get to a healthy weight with good nutrition, patience, and plenty of TLC. She also has a small growth that needs to be removed and a slight cherry eye. Both are being addressed as part of her care.

One of the best things about Phoenix is how well she does with other dogs. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and enjoys having canine company. She isn't pushy or overly demanding. She's happy to hang out with the other dogs and be part of the group.

Phoenix is curious and active, and she's still learning, so a securely fenced yard with a minimum 6-foot fence is required. A home with some structure and consistency will help her feel safe while she gets used to her new life.

Phoenix's ideal home:
* A securely fenced yard with a minimum 6-foot fence
* Someone willing to help her gain weight and get healthy
* Other dogs are welcome with proper introductions
* A calm or moderately active home
* People who are patient and understand that she may need some time to adjust
* A family who is ready to give her the care and attention she deserves

Phoenix isn't perfect, and she doesn't need to be. She just needs someone willing to give her a chance.

She has a lot of good in her, and we're excited to see what she becomes with a safe, stable home and people she can trust. We think she'll make a very special companion.

Speckles is a beautiful double merle Great Dane with a heart as big as her paws and a spirit that shines through in everything she does. This beautiful, deaf girl has learned to navigate the world in her own unique way, relying on her keen awareness and deep connection with her people.

True to the Velcro Dane nickname, Speckles forms strong bonds and thrives on companionship. She wants to be near her humans as much as possible, finding comfort and joy simply by being by your side. Her affectionate nature makes her an incredibly loyal and loving companion.

Speckles is house trained and understands the routines of home life well. While she is familiar with a crate, it tends to cause her anxiety, so she would do best in a home where crating is not necessary and she can feel safe and secure in a more open environment.

She gets along well with other dogs when given proper, thoughtful introductions. With a little patience at the start, she settles in nicely and can enjoy the company of her canine companions.

Speckles has a bit of a story written on her—she carries some scarring around her neck from a prior injury. Because of this, she wears a thunder shirt to provide gentle pressure and protection, helping prevent her from re-injuring the area. It also brings her an added sense of comfort.

Speckles would do best in a home where she can be close to her people and not left alone for long periods. A family experienced with deaf dogs—or willing to learn how to communicate with her through touch and visual cues—would be ideal. A calm environment, patient introductions to other dogs, and a crate-free lifestyle will help her thrive. Most of all, she needs a home full of love, understanding, and the kind of devotion she so freely gives in return.

Meet Haven — a beautiful blue Great Dane puppy with a heart full of love and a playful spirit that keeps life entertaining! Though she may be smaller in size for a Dane, Haven has plenty of personality packed into her petite frame. Like many Blue Danes, she is incredibly people-oriented and wants to be involved in everything her humans do. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow and constant companion, Haven is ready for the job.

Haven is currently with small dogs and enjoys having a canine companion around to play and interact with. She is a happy, playful puppy who is still learning all the important “big dog” manners and will need continued training, guidance, and consistency as she grows.
