“Spread Love It’s The Brooklyn Way…” - BIGGIE SMALLS

THE ANNUAL BROOKLYN BAZAAR FESTIVAL

A collective experience created to make a difference individually, within our families, communities, nation and world today. The Brooklyn Bazaar Festival plays a much needed role in helping lower local crime and increase community collaboration. “Creativity” is a key part of The Brooklyn Bazaar Festival’s work to create an eclectic experience for everyone involved. In partnership with local artists, small businesses, community organizations, and recreational centers: The Brooklyn Bazaar Festival boosts motivation to buy local, be creative, & have fun. It indirectly increases self-empowerment and connects the needs of attendees to the resources of their local & global communities. The Brooklyn Bazaar Festival incorporates the totality of its mission by fostering environments that showcase those who excel and act on their ability to create positive reactions. Interns and Volunteers are also trained by BBF to provide support and creative insight. Since 2005, thousands of participants have had The Brooklyn Bazaar experience and hundreds of creatives & business owners have been booked! HISTORY:

In summer 2005 the area of BedStuy was crime-ridden and robberies were happening at a rapid rate. Local residents were hyper concerned about an increasingly high amount of community disarray and violent occurrences. Bazaar Royale, being a local Brooklynite, National Recording Artist & concerned Property-Owner, decided he would continue the work of those before him and build a long-lasting experience that would help increase community awareness. Keep It Local
