🌎 Our Club members celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by exploring Hispanic and Latino culture, traditions, and history from September 15 to October 15!

🌮 In the Kitchen, members made flautas and learned to make flour tortillas from scratch.
🎨 In the Art Room, they explored colorful patterns and traditional Guatemalan weaving while creating folk art guitars.
📚 In the Ed Center, children practiced Spanish words and phrases.
🚀 Through STEAM projects, members discovered Hispanic scientists and engineers who have made historic breakthroughs in fields like space exploration and medicine!

It was a great opportunity for our kids to explore new ideas, celebrate cultures seen right here in our community, and learn about the people and traditions that shape our world!

💙 Tonight, we’re celebrating the incredible community of supporters who make Great Futures possible at the Great Futures Start Here Ed Arnold Gala, including our Platinum Sponsor, Resa Evans & Dave Theil.

For more than 20 years, Resa and Dave have been dedicated supporters of our Club and the kids we serve. Our Boand Gymnasium carries Resa's family name, and she continues to champion our Greatness Amplified Giving Day. Together, they’ve made a lasting impact through their generosity and genuine care they show for our Club members and their futures.

Resa and Dave never stop rallying others to our cause, inviting the people in their lives to join them in supporting our kids. Whether they’re making a gift, opening doors, or rolling up their sleeves to help, they lead by example and prove what it truly means to show up.

Resa and Dave, thank you for more than two decades of believing in our kids and their Great Futures. 💙

They also continuously contribute a standout auction item, which raises critical funds for our programs and opens up more opportunities for local youth.

Thank you to The Kupferstein Family Foundation for once again joining us as a Platinum Sponsor of the Great Futures Start Here Ed Arnold Gala. 💙

With more than 15 years of support for the gala, the Kupferstein family has been a longtime partner in helping us make a difference for local kids. Their generosity extends beyond the event, with a lasting impact across our branches. Earlier this year, they sponsored the Book Gifting Machine at our PLF Branch, giving kids the opportunity to earn books of their very own and build a love of reading.

Their support can also be seen at our soccer arena, which has proudly carried the Kupferstein name for years. Now, they're taking that investment a step further with new lighting currently underway! ⚽📚

We're incredibly grateful to The Kupferstein Family Foundation for standing alongside our Club and helping create brighter futures for the kids who need us most.

Bidding is open at GreatFuturesGala.com, so you can be part of the impact and support our Club kids from wherever you are. 💙

🥕🍎We love seeing community support like this! ALDI USA recently awarded BGCHV $1,000 in gift cards to support our cooking classes! 💙

Our Program Directors got to head to our local ALDI store and load up on fresh ingredients, and now our Club kids get to roll up their sleeves and cook with them. 🧑‍🍳

Whether they’re cooking, gardening, or learning what healthy habits look like, these hands-on programs help our kids pick up real-life skills, one recipe at a time.

Thank you, ALDI, for helping us put good food and big smiles on the table!
