MEDIA REQUEST: Disabled Journalists Association (DJA)

I'm looking for people to interview for a series of articles for the Disabled Journalists Association (DJA).

I'm hoping to speak with disabled adults, 18 and older, living throughout the United States who are willing to discuss how the rising cost of living is affecting them. I'm especially interested in learning about:

- financial tradeoffs
- incurring additional costs to live and function independently
- paying more because a less expensive option wasn't accessible

I want to hear these personal experiences and what these costs look like in everyday life from folks from different backgrounds, living situations, and disabilities.

A toddler was euthanized in the Netherlands for the first time.

For being disabled.

This child was born prematurely, developed cerebral palsy, was diagnosed with epilepsy, was visually impaired, had a developmental delay, and would be dependent for the rest of his life.

He was severely disabled, but he was not dying.

This child's disabilities were not the problem.

The society that would rather put him to death than care for him is.
